19 Medals for Davide Pedersoli in the CNDA National Championship

21/09/2020

Valeggio sul Mincio - Italy. Summer 2020.

Great Successes at the CNDA National Championship for Davide Pedersoli.

On Sunday 20 September 2020 I went, in the company of two young employees of  Davide Pedersoli, to Valeggio sul Mincio where, that day, the finals of the CNDA National Championship would be held.

My intention was to show my companions, coming from the technical field, what results our products were capable of, engaged in a serious and disciplined sporting activity.

The welcome upon our arrival always, as usual, warm even if with a covered face and respecting social distances.

The athletes from different areas of the country put on a show, challenging each other in new specialties and classic disciplines of the MLAIC circuit. Military and civil long gun, single shot pistol and revolver, fuse ignition systems, flint and percussion. Many competitions, as well as the number of hits, during a day with uncertain weather but which perhaps, thanks to the choreography thrown out of gray smoke, gave us an atmosphere of other times and great involvement.

Many Pedersoli brand guns took to the field, great satisfaction was my sensing the pride of Gabriele and Luca, intent on exchanging approving looks as they admired a  Tryon  being loaded, a  Cook Under Hammer  waiting to stand in the designated shooting position or a  Bristlen Morges , motionless together with his shooter, frozen in a harmonious position waiting for the instant preceding the fire.

At the end of the day, we leave the field, but only after thanking the athletes, protagonists of the event, who despite the countless restrictions imposed in this ominous 2020, have been able to find the strength to train, perhaps in alternative ways and simplified, perhaps simply by simulating the shooting position in front of a mirror, but with the sole purpose of always, giving your best.

Special thanks to the athletes who believed in our products, often managing to climb the steps of the podium.

Stefano Pedersoli
